This week's best of the street

Friday, 29 January 2010

I didn't find an awful lot on the street style blogs that really knocked my socks off, but I did fall head over heels for this girl's absolutely gorgeous coat. If anyone knows where to get it pleeeease let me know!

Hope you all have a fun weekend. We haven't got much planned. I'll just be packing for Nice, trying my best to finish my first knitting project and hopefully baking some more. Can't get enough of baking at the moment. Do you guys have any good recipes to share?

Cliché-free Valentine's Day cards

Thursday, 28 January 2010

I can't stop looking through Able and Game's Etsy shop. Their cards crack me up! And they have the best Valentine's cards ever. Not one cliché in sight! Hope the boyfriend doesn't read this post as he's going to be getting one of these...

I love her work, it's so feminine and glamorous (in quite an understated way). Many more images can be found here.

I feel like I need that hug cushion at the moment. Not having a great week but it's only six days until I head off to Nice with my mum for a girlie mini trip. I cannot wait!

The woman is so beautiful that she could wear a sack and still look amazing, but I absolutely love her style, especially the long, floaty, more bohemian looks she goes for.

Spanish-style home

Monday, 25 January 2010

Grey sky and drizzle today, yuck. I felt like I needed to post something bright and fresh and this Spanish-style home really fits the bill. It's so warm and inviting and I absolutely love their stained glass window. So very beautiful.

This week's best of the street

{Simple black palette but such beautifully chosen pieces.
I absolutely love her ruched skirt}

{This lady has to be French, right? So chic.
I'd be veeery happy if I had just 10% of her style}

{Cute, quirky and fun. I could imagine
Mary-Kate Olsen in something like this}

{One beautifully cut coat}
