Feeling so sapped of inspiration lately... I want to blog but I'm finding myself at a complete loss at what to write, it's so frustrating! You'd think that with spring blooming I'd be awash with inspiration!
Anyway, enough of my moaning, hope you all had a lovely Easter break. It was the first time that I spent Easter away from the family. My parents were in France and one of my sisters was living it up in New York (I was so jealous), but I managed to fill the long weekend with a lot of vintage shopping (we have so many cute vintage stores popping up around us, it's amazing!), baking Easter cupcakes, eating a TON of chocolate, catching up on movies we've been meaning to see for ages and going out for a huge Sunday roast at our local. Sooo relaxing.

Sounds like a wonderful weekend! I love the vintage shopping part especially, so lucky you have new stores popping up! And I know what you mean about writing -- you'll find inspiration soon! :)
ReplyDeleteOOh! you did blog :) I would love to see some pics of your flea markets, or the flea market finds, we are sadly lacking in quality vintage around here... xo
ReplyDeletei know about the lack of inspiration thing too....sometimes i have it, or sometimes (and this is worse) i feel like i have missed the boat on a post so never put it up! its very frustrating, so totally feel your pain! as helen says above, just give it some time, and get out and do lots that you can then write all about!! or do as i do and get a new camera (i havent actually put up news of this yet, but it is coming and it is filling me with joy!)
ReplyDeletex.
love the print on her coat!
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely feeling that too lately, but it's alright! Sometimes it takes a little while to find new things. Your break sounds like it was wonderful! I didn't get to travel either so I shopped and ate treats too :) great photos
ReplyDeleteSOunds like a lovely Easter. The first photo is great. That hair piece is fab! xx LZ
ReplyDeleteHello, I hope your inspiration returns soon. How is that new sewing machine of yours? Lx
ReplyDeleteThank you all so much for your encouraging comments and tips! I can feel the inspiration slowly returning already ;)
ReplyDeleteLuliBags, I am loving my sewing machine! I haven't made anything too impressive yet, only little bits and bobs - I'm knitting a blanket for my friend's new baby so all my time is spent making little knitted squares :)
