I've always tended to wear maxis in the summer - so easy to fling on with a pair of sandals and boom you're good to go.
But I love the idea of combining a simple plain maxi with a blazer or tight leather jacket for the colder months. Here are the photos that I've been madly saving into my files...

i so wish i was tall enough to wear a maxi, but all the ones i have tried would need a foot lopped off the bottom! it is a very cool look!
ReplyDeletei am so glad you are posting again! you were missed!
x.
I love the maxi too but am totally the wrong shape for it. They always looks so casual and chic, yet totally comfortable. I love the way they can be dressed up and down.
ReplyDeletePerhaps because they could cover my feet I could wear stilts with one? hehe

I loooove these looks, I need to try it out :)
ReplyDeleteWow, I love these photos. I've never done a maxi look in the fall before.... so clever to layer it up!
