Thought I'd post a few of my favourite photographs by Daniel Farmer. Very magical and romantic I think. Quite beautiful.

For the first time, I actually have hair that falls past my shoulders (thank goodness for straighteners). The one hairstyle that I have always wanted to try is the bun. Is there any hairstyle more chic?

I got such great news today. After much much searching I have finally landed myself a new job! I can't tell you what relief it is. Looking for jobs has been so stressful. I'm so glad the search is over!

Why do you have such lovely things in your stores?
I'm trying very hard to be good and to save what little money I have, but you are making this veeeery difficult!

We have our desk squeezed into our bedroom which isn't ideal but I'd still like to make our little work area a little more inspiring.

Hello all. Hope you have a fun-packed weekend - and of course, a lovely Valentine's Day!

How do the Swedes do it?

Another of my favourite photographers - this time it's Morten Holtum. I love the way that all his settings have a touch of opulence about them. Against a predominantly neutral background, he mixes in patterns, vintage and an often richness of colour. Wish I could replicate this in our flat!

Feeling the sunshine on my face
Leaning precariously over the balcony to see our "sea view"
(he he)
The croissants, oh yes, the croissants
Bright blue skies
Searching for treasures in the local second hand store
(this time I found a bike with basket, a piano and a side board we desperately need for our hallway! Why can't I find these things in London for the same price?!)
Losing track of the number of espressos we would drink in a day
Waking up to the sunlight filtering through the shutters
Long chats with my mum in the evening over glasses of wine, bread and pate
The lovely B from A Pretty Place to Play asked me to write about my all time favourite pretty things.
